Evilsnuggle, Nothing on my 360 looks even close to what I played last night, and it's not at it's full potential yet. And did you stop and think for a second that this alpha test is there to get our feedback on stuff like, oh I don't know, A.I. interaction. If you were ever considering this game, you would be mistaken to think this is anything but a uniquely fun game. I've played tons of shooters since the mid-nineties and I can confidently say I've never played anything o...
"Don't forget to bring a towel."
As more and more people move away from traditional forms of T.V. viewing (i.e. cable and satellite) we are going to see strange tactics like these pop up from time to time as traditional methods of advertisement evolve to reach the higher numbers of viewers the past saw. I mean, they have barely figured out that Nielson Ratings have been way off for years now due to DVR watching, Netflix/Hulu and other forms of live T.V.
I'm not saying it's wrong, sales show that more people want the PS4 than the XB1, I just don't put any trust into an online poll given on one website. It's what IGN readers believe, not the whole world. I am not defending a console, just giving my opinion on skewed polls. Why do you think website polls are not the preferred method in advertising and politics?
Some of you are too sensitive about the "console war" you've joined and read things out...
You have to randomly choose those you poll in order to get an accurate, and more honest, idea of what the average person wants or likes. Online polls are like online I.Q. tests, they will be different 9 times out of ten depending what time of day and what site you go to. Not to mention that online polls tend to let people vote more than once, and even if they make you login, what's to stop one from registering multiple times? Too many inconsistencies.
One of my friends was recently diagnosed with Leukemia, so not only did this hit home, it gave me some pointers on how to be more supportive.
I think someone at Activision finally talked their wife into calling her friend over for a Ménage à trois. Or it could be Black Ops III. Either way, I'm not benefiting from this news.
WeAreLegion, Hopefully not what some on this site do, which is to disagree with a name and not the comment itself.
I should have heeded all of your warnings, that was beyond stupid. Like, someone should make sure children aren't depending on him for survival type stupid. I had hoped that kind of bigotry toward women had faded away, but like racism, I guess every once in a while you stumble across some backwards-thinking neanderthal.
Here's a new one, "Xbox, erase the last few minutes of my memory!".
I look at it the way I do movies, if it is integral to the story and in good taste, it's fine. But the gratuitous stuff that's thrown in for sales just makes me question the artistic merit, which in turn causes me to lose interest in playing/watching. Plus, shame on them for thinking we are all immature horn-dogs.
Oh come on, those Doublemint twins were hot and you know it ;-)
Boners + products = wallets - money
Well, the math checks out.
Hmm, I should invest in Dramamine stock for when this thing hits the masses ;-)
Well, damn, my wish list just got quite a bit more expensive after seeing all those wonderful toys. But one thing disappoints, I was crossing my fingers that this had something to do with the real Emilio Estevez. Bring on Men At Work 2!
Do you know how much P90X alone costs? And do you think they give it to MS for free? If they can't profit, they can't give us anything. I swear, socialism is ruining this planet faster than global warming could ever dream of doing.
You should go into the manure business, having all that bullsh*t spewing forth from your mouth would make you a millionaire in no time. Wow.
If it were done in a Borderlands fashion I could be on board with that. I played Fallout 3 alot while chatting with my cousin while he also played, and we constantly wished we could play together.
I grew up not being able to buy many games, so was left with renting as an alternative. That being said, Strider became, and still is a contender for, one of the most expensive game rentals due to it's difficulty and awesomeness. I really hope they can recapture that for those of us that got to experience the original.
And don't forget how many more games per console the U.S. consumers purchase compared to most other countries. Last gen saw more than double the attach rate for X360 over PS3 primarily because of the PS3 being a cheaper alternative to stand-alone Blu-Ray players at the time, so for many, they bought a game or two and that was it.
But I don't agree that Europe and Japan don't matter, that's foolish talk right there.
I think if MS did it right they would benefit by allowing approved content to coexist with whatever channel/app they have planned for their original shows that they have in the works.
